(Senior) Cyber Security Architect

Responsibilities

  • Independent development of technical solutions with responsibility for the design and build phases

  • Translation of solutions into production, including documentation, in close coordination with the operational units

  • Analysis and evaluation of new technologies, research, and developments in the specified environment

  • Further development of the existing Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on ISO 27001

  • Internal consultation on security in the software development process with Security and Privacy by Design

  • Development of IT security concepts (cyber assessments and architectures) in collaboration with your project team

  • Consulting our business clients on matters related to cyber security, information, and IT security

  • Cyber defense and management of security incidents

Qualifications

  • Completed university degree with a strong IT focus or equivalent

  • Approximately 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of cyber security in complex cloud environments

  • Strong technical knowledge in the field of information encryption

  • ITIL-certification (Foundation Level) is desirable

  • Independent, solution-oriented work style combined with a willingness to learn and a strong technical understanding

  • Fluent in German with strong negotiation skills and good written and spoken English

  • Ideally, certifications in IT security such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISM, CISSP, CIPP

  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g. GDPR, KRITIS, BAIT, etc.)
